Leading the organization through the tough time frame of Covid and BS 4-BS 6 transition. The achievement of company sales volumes and P&L Plan has been made possible by meticulous planning, execution and immense team work.

I had the opportunity to lead all the the states of North and East India, during various timelines. I started with Ashok Leyland at Kolkata, was transferred to Gurgaon and last stint was at Chandigarh.These were business leader position(s) and responsible for P&L of the given area of operation. My work areas included Sales, After Sales, Logistics, HR , Finance and Office Administration for the given locations.

Joined Tata Motors in Lucknow Office, grew through the ladder and was coincidently, Lucknow became my last posting with Tata Motors. In the meantime, I worked in the entire North and West India and developed a great understanding working with multi cultural & multilingual team. In my last position, I was UV sales head for the states of UP and Uttarakhand. Those were the heady days of UV success story in UP/UK. In FY 2012-13, I showed an impressive 50% YOY volume growth and continued the success story with 7% growth in the next fiscal. While the ensuing growth may look small, the key point is to look at the high base volume. I also managed to outsell national leader in the Lucknow area. Safari sales were some 35% higher than the competition.

I started as the quintessential sales person at the front line. It was a One level channel management. Being in touch with dealerships on a daily basis , planning and executing the strategy needed in local market for maximising volume/MS. 2003 onwards, I was the Regional Manager for Corporate and Government sales for UP and Uttaranchal.

Start of the career. I used to handle combination of dealerships and corporate clients in / around Mumbai and state of Goa. Learnt the basics of business and that readied me for future roles.
