Held an elected Staff Relations position for 5 years and was Vice Chair and a member of SRR National Staffing Committee advocating for, guiding and supporting members.Through extensive experience and training have developed an in-depth knowledge of RCMP conduct, harassment, and grievance/appeal processes, including holding key roles on both management and employee sides. Through roles in staffing and the Staff Relations Program, have developed strategic and meaningful relationships with members, managers and policy centres, resulting in strong avenues for communication with all stakeholders. Recognized within the Manitoba RCMP for extensive knowledge of RCMP Act, policy and National Joint Counsel directives and often called upon by managers for advice on labour relations issues. A foundation of ethics and integrity have been the guiding force for a 31-year career in the RCMP and now as a Labor Relations Officer for the NPF.
