We do custom framing for anything from photographs and prints to dry pastels or 3D shadow boxes. I am responsible for helping customers plan their piece as well as cutting and fitting glass and frames.

Here I learned the art of restoring textiles. My mentor is a master at repairing and re-sizing rugs and upholstery. I assisted in the studio and worked on a few projects independently. My mentor taught me many different techniques as well as general information about imports and interior design. One of my favorite projects was painting an antique Chinese woven rug that has lost color. I also did bookkeeping and general shop management.

I worked helping clients throughout the day with various tasks. OTL is an arts based day program for adults with a variety of disabilities. I provided direct care as well as running art and cooking classes. Here I was able to utilize both my skills as an interventionist and humanitarian as well as an artist.

I performed spa services for clients such as facials, waxing, makeup, and some massage. I helped customers purchase from our product line, and assisted in keeping the spa organized.

Provided direct care to elementary students with undesirable behaviors in their schools. This special education program helped students with transitions throughout the day.

I spent summers and holiday vacations working on various projects in the Vermont State House. I updated the catalog of art and artifacts and helped work on restoration and preservation. I also traveled to other state buildings to document art's condition. Occasionally I would run tours and set up temporary exhibits.
