After beginning in Inside Sales, with Canyon Bicycles USA, I was promoted to our Training Supervisor position, which was within the Sales department.As Training Supervisor, I was responsible for continuing to communicate closely with customers, while catering to internal needs. Through assisting both new and existing Canyon USA employees, maximizing efficiency and productivity, with an understanding of processes and products, provided a more satisfying consumer experience. Action items included developing an onboarding agenda for inside-sales agents, creating and maintaining sell sheets for both Canyon and non-Canyon products, gathering product imagery, creating and maintaining an internal Canyon sales catalog, creating and maintaining an internal non-Canyon sales catalog, expansion of Canyon communications documentation, reviewing weekly training tips and common questions, and tracking email-queue key performance indicators (KPIs). Beyond training-specific tasks, order tracking, internal-task tracking, and user acceptance testing (UAT) were performed. Review of both Canyon-specific and consumer-facing copy and visuals were checked, and reconsidered, based on interactions with customers.

Everjourney is a project motivated by the adventure and freedom of cycling, while being a rebrand of Sean Bird's Cycling Blog. Everjourney focuses on storytelling, wherever, whenever, and however we want to. During 2020, Everjourney evolved into a philanthropic platform, which collaborated with One Bicycle Foundation to assist in donating bicycles (through World Bicycle Relief) to third-world orphans in Kenya, Africa. Designing, producing, and selling an apparel line allowed Everjourney to donate all sales profits to One Bicycle Foundation.

As a brand ambassador and athlete for GU Energy Labs, I consistently informed consumers about GU Energy Labs hydration and nutrition products, as a means for elevating performance. Additionally, I represented GU Energy Labs at select events.

From events and athlete visits, original content was produced, through the combination of audio, text, photo, and video.As GU Energy Labs transitioned its online assets to a more prominent asset management system, I assisted with transferring, sorting, and tagging content, as a marketing project assistant.

Art's Cyclery, which was founded in 1982, is a premier online resource for those interested in cycling. Art's Cyclery boasts a retail location in San Luis Obispo, California. As a retail associate, job requirements included communicating with retail, customer service, content, and warehouse departments, while assisting customers. Additionally, stocking and displaying product was necessary. For web content, original product reviews were produced (linked media), for the web content and purchasing departments. This allowed me to better understand products, while communicating with customers.

Btech, which was founded in 1989, focuses on IT Security for Credit Unions. As an office assistant, my role revolved around improving the company's speed and work rate, while converting Btech to a paperless office.

While competing for Cal Poly Cycling, during the collegiate road-race season, two race reports provided exposure for collegiate cycling. Race reports included producing original text, photo, and video content to be published online. Working with Peloton Magazine, an internationally-renowned cycling publication, provided a more substantial link between collegiate cycling and the road cycling community.
