If I were to define myself in one word, it would be “Energy”.My career is filled with hectic schedules, fire fighting, taxing negotiations, brainstorming sessions, on-the-toes travelling and last minute deals. Breathless alright, but I always enjoyed every moment of this engaging life. I love playing with numbers and soak myself into spreadsheets for hours. Beyond numbers, I love travelling and interacting with people, especially the ones who are more intelligent, knowledgeable and experienced than me. I am fortunate I met plenty of such people who helped me raise my bar constantly over past three decades and made an entrepreneur from an ordinary boy.I have seen business from macro level for last 30 years. Have absorbed different cultures across the world during my extensive travelling and prolonged stays abroad and villages in India. As a business head of 100+ CR business (USD 25 mn), I had opportunity to interact with HODs from Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal and HR field. Also had a vital role to play in company’s growth plans as Head of Business Strategy. Experience in cross border projects from Australia to Singapore to Europe. Inspired by the vision of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and a short meeting with him, in 2007, me and my colleague decided to venture into education segment. Vision at SumConcepts is to take technology led quality education at affordable costs to the masses. With 3,000,000+ students using Kompkin products thru 25,000+ schools across Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Haryana, we have reached a milestone in a very short period.
