I am working in the area of genetic improvement for development of high yielding varieties of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) especially Mentha piperita, Cannabis sativa, Papaver somniferum, Uraria picta, Andrographis paniculata, Rosa damascena, etc. and development of seed quality parameters and SOPs for seed quality testing in MAPs since 4th August , 1995 to continue as Chief Scientist (at present) in CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow, India. I have published more than 100 research publication and developed 31 improved varieties of MAPs as plant breeder.
