Checking and approval of contractor’s setting out of the work and monitoring the progress of work through Primavera Project Management software/ subsequent revised work programme of the Contractor. Assist the Clint in contract management and administration. Provide Interpretation of Technical Specification and Contract Document. Prepare and issue Modified/Additional Drawing and review/approve the Contractors working drawings for execution of work. Assist Team Leader in Checking and Evaluation of variations, Extension of time, day to day contractual correspondences, Claims etc during the performance / execution of the Contract. Conduct Regular Progress/ Coordination meeting. Check variation order consequent to the design changes. Prepare Interim and Final payment certificate. Prepare Project Completion Report.

Reporting and assisting Resident Engineer in references to drawing retained to contractor , Satisfaction and giving instruction regarding work to be in accordance with contract, Instruction to rectify setting out errors, Instruction of requirement for Safety, Security and protection of the environment, Instruction regarding contractor quality of Materials, Plants and Workmanship, Entitlement to access Site and to perform Inspection and operation, Giving instruction of time and place for Inspection and Testing. Review of contractor record and measurement. Ensure QC tests being carried out as per schedule. Checking and verifying of contractor’s bills. Prepare Monthly Progress Reports and any Inspection Report. Construction supervision of Embankment, Sub grade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, DLC, PQC and Cross drainage like Drain, HPC, Box culvert, Minor Bridge, RE Structure. Provide adequate Supervision to suit Contractor’s work plan.

As an Assistant Resident Engineer supervise every day activity as per MORT&H Specifications, IRC guidelines and FIDIC contract condition. Report and assist the Resident Engineer in monitoring and process control for all the activities related to the part of the project as per specification of contract agreement. Check contractor’s setting out of works and prepare comparative statement with respect to approved Bill of Quantities. Ensure process control pertaining to lying of both bitumen and rigid pavement type including those related to the mixing plant and transportation of the mixed material. Inspect works before execution and before covering up. Ensure QC tests being carried out as per schedule. Assist the Resident Engineer in all aspects of project management. Liaise with Pavement cum Material Engineer regarding quality of works and acceptance of work. Check and verify of contractor’s bills. Assist Resident Engineer to preparation of Monthly Progress Reports. Brief to Resident Engineer the progress of work and problems at site. Construction supervision of Embankment, Sub grade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, DLC, PQC and Cross drainage like HPC, Box culvert, Minor Bridge, RE Structure.
