An alumin of Indian school of mines, Dhanbad, Since last 8 year is serving as Chief Executive Officer (Coal) Hindustan Power Projects. Prior to this he had served as Chairman-cum-Managing Director, South Eastern Coalfields Limited. also served as the Director (Technical) for Central Coalfields and has been associated with Western Coalfields and Bharat Coking Coal Limited in various capacities.(Govt of India undertaking)Fellowship of The World Confederation of Productivity Science (WCPS) has conferred fellow ship in 2015 and elevated to president of WCPS (Indian Chapter).Presently President of WCPS &WAP for India chapter.Member of Institute of Engineer India & Mining, Geological & Metallurgical Institute of India. He has rich experience spanning 46 year in coal industry with very strong base for Underground Mining with Steep, Thick & Gassy mine as well as managed one of the biggest opencast mining having a production of more than 35 Million tonnes, and also expert in crisis management, Excellent Human –touch proponent.During the service he has visited various countries such as Belgium, Poland, USA Rome, Italy, Germany, Australia France, & Switzerland ,Indonesia etc, He had received several awards from GoI, CIL & other organization.
