I have taken a new role in the group as Business Development Head - Export from 1st April 2017. My role includes expansion of export business of both Clinker and Cement from various ports of India.

Instrumental in establishing UltraTech as a premium multinational brand in a fiercely competitive markets like Bangladesh. Instilling our Group values and systems in place and to streamlining Bangladesh sales & marketing operations to our global operating platform.Installed SAP and entire sales operations shifted to SAP successfully.Accountable for increasing revenues and to ensure consistent cash flow despite political disturbance and Blockades for months together, in a liquidity crunch markets like Bangladesh. Developing team with quality manpower and providing opportunities for growth to individuals with potential in line with performance management.To achieve budgeted sales growth through developing channel partners and identifying Key Customers across the country with a focus on high NCR markets.

Successful in setting up the most modern Ready Mix Concrete Plant including the project management with Civil / Mechanical jobs within the stipulated time frame.Launched UltraTech Brand Concrete in an upcoming developing markets like Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Credited with first RMC Plant in Eastern India to commence production in our Organization.Increased revenues YOY and achieved a turnaround with the Unit becoming profitable in a short span of time, despite limited markets with presence of other RMC units including local manufacturers.Developed innovative product combination to cater to different customer groups and established a wide range of customer base with segments like B2B / B2C including Infrastructure, Retail, Real Estate, Government Projects etc. Instrumental in securing all the necessary statutory clearances and approvals from various Govt. bodies as per Industry norms.Developed full team required to run the show from scratch and identified potential individuals for growth.

Successfully established Key Account Department from scratch in Chhattisgarh state. Developed Key Account Management sales through proactively roping in Key Customers from a wide range of customer base.Credited with first Company in Eastern India to commence supply of Bulk Cement to Customers Project sites directly. Subsequently further got strengthened with addition of more such sites, with savings and operational ease both to our organization and to customers. Developed Supply Chain for achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction through Road and Rail combination to save time and to proactively cater to their requirement.Achieved higher NCR consistently and YOY Sales volume increase with a substantial increase in both top line and bottom line. Played a pivotal role in developing Key Account Cell in Chhattisgarh state of India after acquisition & merger of L & T Cement business with our group.
