Development of a fully automated fluorescence microscope as part of the Vanadis NIPT (non-invasive pre-natal testing) system. Responsible for instrument production, hardware verifikation, sustaining and documentation according to IVD regulation standards. Trained as a field service engineer.Supporting instrument manufacturing and production testing for two other instruments (Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer named Qsight, PCR Fluorescence Spectrometer named EonisQ).

After the integration of YKI into SP I still hold the same position as before with similar responsibilities.

Technical responsibility (service & upgrade) for YKIs combined confocal Raman microscope/AFM/SNOM instrument from WITec, its application to a variety of samples from research projects and contract works, interpretation & presentation of results. Supervision of PhD students.

Rebuilding of the ion cource of the existing Time-Of-Flight mass spectrometer in order to implement resonance multi- photon ionization (REMPI). Building and testing the complete set-up for jet-REMPI mass spectrometry.Building another set-up to show the proof of principle for long distance Raman spectroscopy.

Working in a research team to measure the weight of atoms with extreme precision in an ion trap.
