The goal is to get an overview about procedures regarding drugs, what type of drug information is available and handled within a service, what type of medical reference groups or networks are used, what internal or external contacts are existing and how could we coordinate a collaboration within the various services.Inera aims at having a more complete picture of how drug information is handled and where and wants to increase collaboration and usage of their own services internally and show a more coherent picture regarding drug related questions externally.Examples of drug related services are:Sil (Swedish information services for drugs); Pascal (a prescribing system for patients with dose packages); Journalen (a patient portal where you for example can get an overview about your current drug list. Group leader for Sil (Swedish information sources for drugs) within Inera. Inera is a Company owned by the Swedish county councils and the Swedish communities. Sil consists of a database and a Sil SOAP API and additionally 3 external tools and various internal tools for database production, source retreaval, quality assurance and test. Sil consists of a database and a Sil SOAP API and additionally 3 external tools and various internal tools for database production, source retreaval, quality assurance and test. Sil contains various registers and knowledge databases (19 different sources) and is produced on a weekly basis. It is distributed to all county councils in Sweden and various governmental and private units. All e-prescriptions in Sweden are based on Sil.. Most of the information in Sil is visible through our website www.silonline.seAs a group leader I am responsible for 15 people - a mixture of pharmacists, nurses and IT experts. We plan development of the content and IT based on decisions of a medical reference group. Checking the Swedish Healthcare Community regarding new knowledge databases related to drug treatment is one of the important tasks within Sil. Tjänsteansvaret för Sil inom Inera innebär att planera, budgetera, leverera Sil databasen och Sil tjänster till samtliga landsting i Sverige. Sil består av en verksamhets- och teknikgrupp av totalt ca 15 personer.Sil databasen innehåller läkemedelsinformation från ett antal olika aktörer som ska användas av aktörer inom hälso- och sjukvården. Databasen Sil uppdateras och levereras veckovis till samtliga beställare. Sil består utöver databasen av ett SOAP API och ett 20 tal andra system (interna för produktion) och externa webbapplikationer som används inom landsting eller är allmän tillgängliga (www.silonline.se). Sil SOAP API ändras 1 gång per år.Utöver tjänsteansvaret leder jag verksamhetsgruppen som producerar databasen, samarbetar med teknik för att implementera nya eller uppdatera befintliga källor och ska tillsammans med externa förvaltningsgrupper och referensgrupper bevaka framtagning av nya källor som skulle kunna integreras i Sil. Focus of my research is decission support systems within drug prescribing, their effects, usage and delivery to the users.
