IT IS HARD HAVING AUTISM !Autism is often an invisible disability and therefore becomes two disabilities, since others will have a harder time recognizing it and understanding you. ASD is regularly down toned.This is worrying. Because the disability is severe and lifelong. It contains problems both in the social, communicative, cognitive, repetitive and sensual area. The psyche is also vulnerable. The stress level is higher than normal and comorbidity and mental illness are often seen as well as diseases.Therefore it is up to professionals and close relatives or caretakers to help spread understanding of the disability to make for better support and living conditions for autistic people on a larger scale.Through the right support an autistic person can get better self-esteem, understanding and well-being. This is exactly what we need to nuture the unique talents and capabilities that these people contain.The above is not meant to disable adults with ASD, who are doing fine on their own, far from it, but fact is that the scale and the needs are various just as people are different.
