I'm an economist working for many years within the field of innovation studies. I have researched and published within the field of technical change and employment, IT in the public sector, public technology procurement, studies of national systems of innovation, university–industry linkages, innovation policy, and sustainable development. My current research is centred around systems of innovation with a special focus on institutions and learning capabilities in a sustainable development perspective. I have several years of experience within university governance, including positions as vice dean, study director, and as head of department of Department of Business and Management, Aalborg University.I'm member of the IKE Research Group at the Department of Business and Management, Aalborg University; The Danish Research Unit for Industrial Dynamics (DRUID); the GLOBELICS network (the Global Network for the Economics of Learning, Innovation and Competence Building Systems) and UniDev (The Evolving Role of Academic Institutions in Innovation Systems and Development, coordinated by RPI/Lund).
