Working by Ministry of Housing, Urban and Rural Affairs Birgitte developed the open architectural competition: “Fremtidens bæredygtige almene bolig”, managed the pool for public housing pilot projects:"den almene forsøgspulje", arranged a conference on saving energy and adapt to climate changes in public housing revamp projects, served the minister, Carsten Hansen, with speaks, developed a new architecture policy to name a selection of tasks.

Birgitte worked freelance on for JJW Architects and Falkon Rådgivende Ingeniører to name a few. Birgitte was in charge of the dialog with the landscape architect and the engineer for the architectural competition for the municipalities of Frederiksberg. Birgitte developed concept design and organization of a 900 m² kindergarten for 102 children and Islandsbrygge Kindergarten.

Birgitte managed the project team and developed the concept design and presentation for the winning architectural competition for the municipalities of Herlev and KAB (Koebenhavns almene boligselskab). She developed the concept for 52 public housing units distributed on 3 plots (4960m2) and surrounds and contributed to the content of the project presentation.Birgitte did the initial design for "Asminderødhusene": 4 types of housing and surroundings, 26.100 m² in Fredensborg, Denmark.

Birgitte developed: -the site master plan for the 2 plots for the winning architectural competition, on inexpensive prefabricated mixed housing for families, elderly and assisted living facilities for KAB-the site master plan for 52 housing units, visitors center and surrounds for the Atlantic foundation in a scenic area Krodden in Kristiansand.-the site master plan for 50 housing units and surrounds arranged in a scenic area in Lone, Norway.-the principals for the infrastructural flow for the winning architectural competition (Koege kyst), a transformation of 320.000 m² by the old industrial area of Koege harbor. Mixed infrastructure, housing, commercial facilities, recreational areas. Birgitte documented in sections and flow diagrams.-the catalog of ideas and references for the intermediate initiatives in the development strategy for the winning architectural competition “Greve midtby”, consisting of 27 ha master plan. Birgitte further developed and updated the winning Master plan for the transformation of Varvstaden, 350.000 m² by the old industrial area of Malmö, Sweden. Birgitte documented updates in 3Dmodelling (sketch up) and supplied the municipalities with detailed scenarios in sectional drawings and perspectives.

Birgitte developed the conceptual design residential building, 5 highly exclusive apartments, on St. James Square in London. She built 3Dmodel (3D max and lasercut) for volume studies, made the layout and facade drawings for the authorities and presentation of the design for the client.

Birgitte cooperated with the danish authorities “Highways Agency”, landscape architects and engineers developing infrastructural and landscape architecture for the M3 and M12 highway in Zealand, Denmark.

Birgitte planned, execute and evaluated a pilot project on a visual and digital building register for the municipalities of Copenhagen. She coordinated with existing information from BBR (building and housing register) and SAVE (Survey of Architectural Values in the Environment) and performed a guide for future enrollment of all buildings in the city of Copenhagen.
