Dr. Matthew Birnholz is Vice President and Medical Director for ReachMD. He is a member of the executive leadership team that directs and executes organizational strategic initiatives and is specifically responsible for editorial direction, content strategy, learning experience design, and quality control. Matt has overseen the creative development and production of over ten thousand video and radio programs targeting healthcare professionals, and he has launched over fifty specialty series brands that represent a broad spectrum of clinical and nonclinical interests.During his tenure at ReachMD, Matt and his colleagues have received numerous accolades and awards, including MM&M Gold for Best Healthcare Professional Media Brand four times. He has also provided strategic consulting to numerous academic institutions and agencies, Fortune 500 health care companies, peer-reviewed journals, and medical societies such as the AMA for which he served on the Brand Advisory Executive Board. Interfacing between medical professionals, media experts, and healthcare executives, Matt specializes in envisioning and coordinating relevant, immersive, and informative content for the medical community.Matt received his B.A. from Colby College and earned his M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He pursued clinical training in pediatrics at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago before joining the editorial leadership team at ReachMD.
