This one-year fellowship is designed to support the transformation, leadership development, and retention of quality healthcare professionals in California’s resource-denied communities.

Contract execution, grant and budget management for multi-year USAID and privately funded global health projects.-----Leading a 6 month project in Central Asia (Kyrgyz Republic, and Tajikistan) to uncover opportunity areas for the national governments’ HIV/AIDS service rollout strategies for key populations (i.e, substance abuse, re-entry population, MSM).

Managing and facilitating a multi-year fellowship project aimed at tackling domestic-violence in California through innovative, and untried approaches. The work is funded by the Blue Shield of California foundation.---Sourcing and developing insights on the decision-making processes in the global immunization system through field work that represented different types of health systems across the globe. The insights will support global immunization stakeholders like BMGF, WHO, GAVI streamline their processes.

Supporting national and local levels of the Ministry of Health, and NGO’s implement human-centered methodologies to build a culture of data use across their health system. The work entailed developing data-use curriculum, conducting an exhaustive analysis of innovation practices in health settings, and facilitating a series of workshops and design-sprints with local and international partners. The work was funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and USAID.

Applying global health systems, clinical care environments, and field research data analytics expertise to a 17-month R&D project investigating how a new hand-held pneumonia diagnostic device might be adapted for use in low-resource settings. The work is being conducted in West Africa, East Africa and India and is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

- Investigate complaints of unhealthy working conditions and recommend corrective action- Conduct inspections of facilities and respond to safety complaints- Interview Staff to review and investigate industrial injuries- Educate and train staff, managers, and supervisors, on hazards associated with job assignments - Determine health hazards by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting industrial hygiene data

- Conducted a preliminary study with goals to inform public policy to ban smoking in vehicles, - Analyzed air pollution samples taken in the San Joaquin valley of California that are part of the long term 'Children's health and Air Pollution study'- Translated and reported results from analysis into easy to understand and accessible formats for publications- Managed the day-to-day operations of a Public health laboratory, including supervising undergraduate students
