Depending on the business need, I would typically be working on something project-based within one of the four main SharePoint environments at the Bank for about 75% of my time with 25% spent resolving support issues (first/second/third line). Sizes of project vary considerably from data entry systems used to collect information from all the UK banks and building societies to simple, out-of-the-box collaboration sites between the Bank and a counterparty.

- Created a fully functional Virtual Learning Environment using MOSS 2007 and developed sites for the school to use. - Controlled and managed the data migration process from network storage onto SharePoint having used custom tools I developed to ensure data integrity and allowed for cleaning up of redundant data items.- Wrote a timetabling macro in Excel that reduced an effort of 9 man-weeks down to 2 minutes.- Networking repairs, maintenance, installations, etc- Hardware repairs (laptops, PCs, printers, VCRs/DVDs)- Procurement of assets - Department Health and Safety Representative.
