• Knowledge of basic sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals. • Basic mathematical skills to prepare moderately complex calculations for reporting. • Ability to deal effectively with team members, vendors, contractors, etc. • Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. • Ability to Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, written and verbal format • Ability to read and understand memorandum and financial reports • Ability to supervise a team consisting of a large number of people • Knowledge of the housekeeping industry and trends within the housekeeping field . • Providing an exceptional customer service when dealing with customer queries and requests in a prompt, professional and knowledgeable manner and escalating the same when necessary• Ensuring all rooms are made up/cleaned in line with high quality hotel standards, carrying out regular inventory for linens, amenities, cleaning products and tools and ordering the same when required• Dealing with all duties and responsibilities in a timely and responsible manner, ensuring the same are consistently carried out to a high quality standard and are in line with governing cleanliness protocols• Constantly working above and beyond job requirements in ensuring the daily smooth operation of the housekeeping department and in delivering performance improvement
