I grew up in Atlanta, GA, the only child of two restauranteurs from Texas. I fell in love with journalism at early age due to a deep interest in personhood and the web of intersectionality that I saw in my local community and across my country. I followed my curiosity to Boston, Ma where I now study journalism at Emerson College. One day I hope to report at the national and international level and rekindle the relationship between news media and the American people. But until then, I'm doing what's in front of me to the best of my ability. Working in multiple roles with WEBN-TV Boston and interning as a multi-media journalist at The Washington Center this fall in Washington, D.C.
