A software tester with over 20 years of significant involvement in test management, test co-ordination, incident/defect management and third party liason. From 1997 I have worked in various testing roles in a range of organisations on a contract basis, which has included Test Lead as part of a major release at Scottish Widows, involving five workstreams based Offshore, as well as liasing/co-ordinating with UAT Test Leads testing ALIS(Sapiens) and 3 other Scottish Widows contracts.A solid background in software testing techniques including system testing, integration testing, OAT testing, UAT/BAT and leading test automation using UFT. Able to align quality assurance with the organisational delivery model with experience in Waterfall, V-model and recent experience working as an Agile Tester in a Scrum team.Alongside this, an extensive range of technical knowledge and the ability to liaise with technical staff, in relation to test coverage and defects. Furthermore, a practical and professional focus, with well developed interpersonal and communication skills to form strong and productive relationships on all levels.To date most experience gained in banking, insurance and investment industries and related applications/software but proven adaptability to other industries.
