As Head of the Committment Team, I was in charge of all Account Receivables for outstanding commitments. Iimproved processes by 90% through centralization implementation. I implemented an enhancement in the financial data base which provided instant visibility of outstanding data in lieu of a 5 day waiting period. I established new criteria in the financial process. I executed and managed multiple appropriations within the Planning, Programming and Budgetary System.

I designed a workload balance process into the weekly financial reports to ensure best efforts for manhours. I was selected as a key member of the Credit Card Implementation Team for the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Comptroller Department, Accounting and Finance Section. I ensured accurate and timely posting, reconciling, expenditures, and disbursement of various contracts with numerous acronyms.

I ensure compliance of Tax Law on a case by case basis. I performed individual tax audits with a case closing ratio of 82%. Completed daily audits in accordance with Internal Revenue Code 54.

I supervised three to five accounting technicians/fiscal accounting clerks. Ensured accurate and timely posting of transactions to General Ledger as well as applicable appropriations as identified via Accounting Classification Reference Numbers (ACRNS). I applied applicable modification action and maintained contract balance. Performed contract completion audits for Defense Contract Defense Agency. I implemented an Progress Payment Guide for the "progress payment" process.

I performed Invoice Certification resposibilities. Reviewed financil data for accuracy of receipts, purchase orders, and Vendor invoices to complete certification and ensure pprompt paymment. I managed follow up actions for improper invoice submissions. Performed effective communication both orally and written to mmanagement and Commercial Vendors.

Civilian Title: Traffic Manager, resposible for determining Household Goods/Hold Baggage shipping entitlements as well as determining the best travel route of goods. In addition, I served in a dual capacity as Claims Specialist. I interpreted the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR'S), Government Bill of Ladings (GBL'S) and prepared travel tickets and funding for military personnel.
