• Successfully employed an appropriate set of industry connections, market research tools, and strategic thinking abilities to target API Kilo Lab and/or large-scale manufacturing opportunities including Generic Pharma and Large Pharma to Virtual Pharma. Targeted small molecule compounds (APIs) include NCEs (Development – Commercial), Generics (Development – Commercial), HPAPI, and Controlled Substances (Schedule 1 – V).• Employed a solid understanding of CMC requirements from process development, analytical method development and validation, process validation, stability studies, etc. on NCEs as well as generics.• Familiar with all standard legal requirements and worked with legal counsel to develop supply agreements, confidentiality agreements, and drug substance development agreements• Created an overview of customer business and developed a comprehensive understanding of customer needs (both long term and short term). • Thoroughly understands all components of the customer, the industry, business needs/goals, organizational dynamics and the competition. • Authored client proposals, generated change orders, managed projects from receipt of purchase order to delivery of material, and interfaced with clients regarding non-technical issues at every stage in the project plan through the effective management of people and resources, following cGMP (where applicable) and Standard Operating Procedures.• Worked closely, after the sale, with all successfully bid clients as a key commercial interface between all inter-company service providers and the client.• Completed project goals through scientific understanding and management of people, time, and resources.• Responsible for identifying and resolving conflict, prioritization, scheduling resources necessary to stay on schedule, purchase of raw materials and supplies, requests for additional help and support to maintain the project timeline.
