Hello, my name is Bisma Ali and I am a second-year Philosophy student at the University of Texas at Austin. I am currently working as a Patient Transporter with TouchPoint Support Services at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. As a Patient Transporter, I am responsible for safely and punctually transporting patients around the hospital while maintaining effective communication with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians, and dispatch.Furthermore, I am aspiring towards admission into a Physician Assistant (PA) program after completing my undergraduate degree. I am interested in exceptional patient care fostered by critical logical and social ideas nested within Philosophical studies.I am looking to gain more experience in the healthcare field, as well as become involved in conducting research related to the connection of mind-body Philosophical ideals and the quality of patient care.
