I am a student and researcher, where my research focuses on the management of different soils for crop production. With over 7 years experience in the study of soil science and research, I have a bachelor’s degree in Soil Science and master's degree (ongoing) in Soil Science with Agronomy (minor).My expertise encompasses but not limited to soil characterization, soil fertility and nutrient management, greenhouse gas mitigation, climate smart agriculture, biochar preparation, compost preparation.Some of my works include;1. Effect of biochar size fractions on the physical properties of a rhodic kandiustalf, grown with sunflower 2. Combined effect of organic and inorganic fertilizers on soil fertility, growth and yield of Vigna radiata3. Landuse impact on soil microbial population, microbial activity and some soil properties in Baybay City, Leyte.4. Growth and Yield of Brassica rapa as affected by different levels of salinity 5. Characterization of lowland and upland soils in Baybay city, Leyte6. Physiological response of Zea mays to different urea application rates in loamy soil, as evaluated in pot experiments. I am passionate about the knowledge and understanding of various applications to food security and sustainable agriculture. I am a strong advocate for gender equality, quality education in science and technology. I have also had the opportunity as an oral presenter where I challenged farmers and other stakeholders on climate smart agriculture. I am eager to learn new skills, explore other challenges, and find partnerships in the field of soil science. I am also dedicated to providing useful contributions to the institution I always work for, contributing to achieving the goals and objectives if the institution.
