Key Responsibilities:• Document Preparation = drafting and formatting legal documents such as memos, briefs, letters, and correspondence.• Document Review• Legal Research – conducting research to support attorneys and senior staff members for ongoing cases and issues such as assist in finding legal resources, retrieving legal documents.• Communication = handling incoming and outgoing communication such as answering and transferring phone calls to the correct department, taking messages, responding to routine inquiries. Handle email correspondence on behalf of attorneys. • Minute Writing/ Transcription • Assisting with Due Diligence• Billings and Invoices = billing clients, tracking billable hours, and preparing invoices. • Administrative Tasks = photocopying, scanning, and faxing. • Client Interaction = assisting with inquiries, schedule meetings, relay information between attorney and clients.• Confidentiality = maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive legal information. • IT Skills = proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.• Legal Compliance = ensuring all legal processes and documents are complying with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.• Legal and Financial Updates = Keeping up to date with changes in the law and finance and assisting in providing updates to attorneys and staff
