As long as I can remember I have always wanted to be in a field that benefits others. To realize that you are helping others to a better life has always been my motivation, makes me feel like a hero. At first, looking into the medical field I didn't know what career was the best for me, but after many years I finally found the perfect career. I realized that babies have always been a very important part of my life, I like being around them, I like holding them, and taking care of them. So I looked into health care careers that included care for babies and that is how I found out that I wanted to be a pediatrician. I know that Med school is hard but I am willing to work as hard as possible. I want to complete my undergrad at UMKC and then later transfer into KU for medical school or even travel out of the country. Later I will complete my residency and finally be a doctor. It is a long journey and I am excited.
