Work for Jabil HP work-cellHP work-cell manufactures laser printer (MFP) and ISA (integrated scanner assembly). I focus on new product introduction or NPI.1. Involve in early design of new product, do design review based on 3D CAD file, provide design improvement suggestion;2. DFX analysis and provide DFX improvement suggestion, such as improving assembly and process, optimizing structure to save cost, preventing same bugs or issues happen again;3. On-site support on build, discussed technical issue which found on build with customer designer, provide short-term solution and long-term improvement suggestion;4. Discuss special installation fixture for assembly request, attend weekly conference call to discuss and tracking build issues or improvement suggestion; 5. Failure analysis, follow up build issue and do analysis, such as tolerance analysis, functional testing analysis, to find out root cause, provide improvement solution and prevent action;6. Flexibly work in a global environment, provide on-site support at customer site, such as business travel for face-to-face design review at HP design center, and have traveled to HP Technology R&D Shanghai site and HP Company Boise site for design review and bread board build or prototype build.7. Cross function work, co-work with IE (industrial engineer) to optimize production line layout, pass client design specification request to production line, training operator, improving bottle neck station, to reduce workmanship issue, to improve FPY (first pass yield); co-work with QE to discuss and finalize product or part inspect specification; co-work with TE (test engineer) to do analysis for fail units and find out root-cause; co-work with SCM to confirm design change sample, and evaluate 2nd source sample.

Silitek is an ODM company of Liteon group, products involved inject/laser printer (MFP) and scanner for Lexmark, HP, Kodak, Epson. 1. In charge of product mechanical design and development;2. As a task leader, lead the team to focus on the projects involved all of development phases; 3. Mechanism design, mock-up making, tooling tracking, sample confirmed, design verifying build debug, and SOP (mass production) support; 4. Focus on design review, DFMEA analysis and tolerance analysis, and review the part manufacturing with vendor, create and maintain the BOM. 5. Control the build schedule, tracking the material preparing, and check the material of build; 6. On build, find out design issue/ manufacture issue/ assembly issue and debug. 7. Co-work with DQA to finish the relative testing for project. Involved in many cases, such as Lexmark products of silver-charm series/Cabernet series/Yukon series/Ranger series, and Mattel toy product of Barbie nail printer.
