Position Held – Manager in Finance Department handling entire procurement needs of the company, including Tenders, Contracts and Insurance required for operations. Accountability:- Plans, Directs and Manages the Procurement activities of the company in coordination with various department heads, CFO, Tender Committee etc. - Identifying and inducting vendors to the system so as to meet the current and future company requirements - Understand, track, and forecast the key cost drivers and markets factors for the items/ services required.- Implement sourcing strategies to support Department and Company objectives and policies, providing the company competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies and services. - Negotiate and manage all contracts and agreements for assigned items/ services so that cost, quality, and delivery performance in connection with department objectives is met- Implement appropriate sourcing strategies to control the company’s purchase costs and to assure an adequate source of supply- Reviews and assesses existing insurance policies of the company to check adequacy of coverage. Arranges new insurance policies, monitors, administers and analyzes same with the objective to ensure that adequate insurance cover is provided for employees and assets to cover the exposure of the organization and shareholders- Follows up on insurance claims against any of the several insurance policies held by the Company. Processes claims, negotiate with insurance loss adjusters and insurers seeking to bring settlement to the claim

Position Held – Manager – Band IV-B, in IC & LM (Internal Control and Loss Minimization), handling corporate salvage deals for Pan India and retail salvage for West and South regions based out of Cochin (Handling 70% of national portfolio of the vertical). Has served at Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai apart from current locationAccountability:- Ensuring Corporate and Individual customer satisfaction through timely settlement of claims so that the account is renewed year after year- Minimize the loss arising out of the insurance claims by valuating and disposing off the salvage material at the best price possible - Identifying and inducting buyers/vendors to the system and to provide them with complete solutions on valuation and finalization of deals- Ensure value add and cash flow within the specified TAT- Building Relationships with Claims and Surveyor Teams so that more intimations are provided- Co-ordinate with legal team/law enforcement agencies for release of materials if under their custody for any reason- Handling complete MIS and database of the vertical, to feed the internal customers with timely reports including KPI tracking

Later on elevated as Circle Collection Lead of Corporate Wireless Group in October 2005 (9 Months), functioned as the FAB Lead since July 2006 to June 2007 (12 Months)
