Provided comprehensive consultations to patients regarding their prescriptions, with a primary focus on oncology drugs. Effectively communicated crucial information regarding dosage administration and potential side effects of these medications, ensuring patient understanding and adherence to treatment plans. Instructed patients on the proper operation and usage of various medical devices, including insulin pens, inhalers, glucometers, and others, enabling them to manage their conditions effectively and maintain optimal health.

We were assigned to four different departments at the hospital - six months in general medicine, two months in paediatrics, two months in psychiatry and two months in gynaecology. Our task during this period of postings was to gather as much knowledge and experiences as we can by attending ward rounds with doctors and talking to patients. Once in a month, we were given Drug Information Centre duty where we had to counsel patients who came with any queries related to their disease or medications.
