I specialize in Business Transformation within Service-driven Business Ecosystems, focusing on how value flow mapping affects both service system design and transformation processes.My research results help enterprises identify the fundamental changes that may occur when they evaluate the potential of participating in Service-driven Business Ecosystems. This is achieved by developing transformation parameters for reimagining resource utilization within such ecosystems. These parameters, in turn, are combined to generate different evolution paths that are depicted and assessed via proprietary value engineering tools and methodologies.I have 7 years’ work experience in WAVE Lab, a boutique R&D and business consulting startup, as strategy consultant and head researcher. I established with the Director of the Lab the initial strategy and initiated the launch of the Lab. I am currently, responsible for the supervision and acceleration of the activities for the development of new intellectual capital for the Lab (e.g. research for E.U. funded projects, consulting tools).I have created a consulting tool for Business Ecosystems that provides an ‘ecosystem portfolio’ strategy, evaluating the requirements for participation, as well as identifying the fundamental transformations that may occur.I have also 7 years teaching and supervision experience on all level of students in the Business School of the University of the Aegean and a rich portfolio of publications in high impact international journals and conferences. In 2017, I was selected by U.S. Department of State for the International Visitor Leadership Program. One year later I directed an equivalent program for the Business School of the University of the Aegean, which in 2019 was finalist contender in the 5th “Innovation & Entrepreneurship Teaching Excellence Awards”.
