- Designed and implemented the UX/UI for the games library on the Kindle Fire tables including the migration strategy to Android’s Material Design patterns and guidelines.- Assisted in the design of the persistent data storage layer for the Kindles. This work included considerations for in-memory caching, on disk storage in the form of relational tables using SQLite, and support for 2nd party apps to retrieve content stored in our application through the use of sync adapters and content providers.- Handled customer facing ticket queue for problems users were experiencing with the device on both the client and the backend services. A successful customer response included root causing their issue, potentially rolling back a deployment, and providing a detailed solution in a timely fashion.- Main point of contact for how to approach accessibility on Kindle devices with regards to text-to- speech, explore by touch, and gesture support.- Hackathon co-winner in the category of high impact, customer-centric improvements to our games library using social data to entice app downloads and prolonged user gameplay.

- Co-designed and developed GeoStratus, a geospatial application, for plotting data and doing route analysis on a distributed set of incident reports collected by various military branches.- Database normalization, with performance testing, of the CIDNE application which resulted in a reduction of 1,200 tables to 3.- Application support for CIDNE, which included addressing change requests for features and enhancements in addition to problem reports for software defects found in the field.
