Started as phone based technical support for Apple, and then San Diego Union Tribune, promoted to I.T. in July of 2011. Maintain about 1000 workstations, including desktop and phone. Deployment of new workstations. Maintain PCI/SOX compliance. Assist other departments as an on-site resource for projects. Maintain network wiring. Request and validate an Enterprise level Request for Change process for any changes made to production area. Maintain CCTV and Access Control system. Communicate and escalate outstanding issues to I.T. Management. Provide ideas for solutions to project challenges.

Program and test Control4 devices and controllers. Troubleshoot and fix Control4 devices and controllers. Replace faulty equipment. Clear hotel room punch lists, escalating any outstanding issues to project managers.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot new Control4 home automation devices. Install, configure, and troubleshoot wiring and other a/v devices. Pre-wire and retrofit new and existing construction homes with low voltage wiring, including security, CCTV, phone, data, satellite and CATV, home automation. Maintain, and make additions to company website as requested. Assist with bidding and estimation for potential clients.
