Primary responsible for leading logistics activities according to company standards and management expectations. Supporting optimizations processes in logistics - mainly cost, inventory level accuracy and productivity of people, HSE, 5S, and ergonomics• Identifying weak processes, develop and implement new ones• Ensuring plant implementation of PC&L methods and tools• Providing plant with PC&L standards (Material Information Flow Analysis, Milk run, leveling...)• Train and coach plant employees and carry out progress workshops in accordance with business needs• Generating, maintain and execute improvement projects.

• Managing the shipping and warehouse team (20-25 people), and overseeing daily operations. Organizing and coordinating various sections of logistics (in-outbound, internal logistics, shipping, and customs). Performance follow up against estimates.• Optimizing all purchases as a major way to reduce costs as well as directing activities of Inventory Control.• Responsible for continuous improvement activities through research, benchmarking, and identification of improved methods or tools to increase efficiency.• Managing customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly

• Overseeing and ensuring the continuous material flow and shipping at the GSI Plant based in Hungary by coordinating and leading the shipping team (13 people), including warehouse operation, transportation, customs and shipping documents' administration. Analysis of logistics/freight costs, identifying cost-savings opportunities.• Responsible for the establishment and management of the relationship with freight forwarders, international shipping companies and couriers, searching for future partners. Managing overall site freight costs by planning & managing documentation, packing and packaging, shipping and distribution in accordance with specified INCOTERMS and utilizing corporate freight agreements.
