July 2013 – February 2014: Windows 7 Lead Deployment Engineer, The Football Association, LondonSolely in charge of the Windows 7 upgrade project, involving upgrading all of Wembley Stadium's 600+ PCs from Windows XP to Windows 7 and providing support to end users.Key responsibilities included:• Completing Windows 7 upgrade of workstations• Replacing legacy hardware with new kit• Post-migration desk support to ensure users were able to carry out their tasks effectively• PXE imaging new desktops and laptops• Application configuration and profile testing post-migration• Providing first and second line hardware and software support• Configuring and testing new hardware and software• Acting as an interface between business clients and IT teams• Assessing hardware required for replacement• Identifying devices in SCCM and assigning the appropriate build task for them• Ensuring that desktops and laptops were put in the correct AD organizational units, in order to receive the correct group policy settings• Building desktops using a standalone USB build taken from SCCM• Floor walking to help users fix any unsolved issues that they may have
