Responsible for reviewing HPLC- and CGE-results for release analysis and stability assessment of drug substance and drug product samples, writing and reviewing CoAs for batch-release, handling laboratory investigations, deviations, change requests and acting as QC Coordinator on a commercial project – with general focus on ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines.

Thesis: Evolution of Metabolism in Pseudomonas aeruginosa During Adaptation to the Cystic Fibrosis Airways.Research: I studied the evolution of metabolic rewiring in Pseudomonas aeruginosa during transition into persistent infections in people with Cystic Fibrosis, using genetic engineering and stem cell-derived disease models, as well as proteomic and dynamic metabolomic analysis.Outreach: Presented my work at the United Kingdom Cystic Fibrosis Conference (Online, 2021), European Cystic Fibrosis Young Investigator Meeting (Paris, 2023) and the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (Copenhagen, 2023). Also helped organize scientific events for visiting high school students at the NNF Center for Biosustainability.Courses: Metabolomics and proteomics, Infection Microbiology: Antimicrobial Resistance and Molecular Typing, Cutting‐edge Gene Editing Techniques in Bacteria; CRISPR and TraDIS, Bioengineering and Critical Thinking, Sustainability evaluation and communication, Analytical microbial natural product chemistry and biosynthesis.

Worked in the Welch Group at the Department of Biochemistry to study Pseudomonas aeruginosa clinical isolates from people with Cystic Fibrosis using proteomic analysis. Funded by the EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant.

Primary supervisor for a 15 ECTS 4th Semester group project in molecular biology and teaching assistant during laboratory exercises & problem solving for the course Biological Chemistry.

Designing and carrying out experiments on tardigrade metabolism as well as writing manuscripts for academic publication and providing general lab assistance.

Worked with maintaining, and preparing human cell cultures for microscopical analysis under sterile conditions in a GMO1 certified lab in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Carried out imaging and data collection, using confocal microscopy and analysis of the cellular localization of staining with ImageJ software.
