I consider myself a light touch and a team player, yet a competent technical thinker. Through my experiences with software development, both on and off campus, I have developed an ability to often understand both the most and least technical people in the room. This allows me to act as a catalyst for efficient communication, an element of tech I have often found underrated in certain circles.Despite my empathetic approach to communicative situations, I consider the deepest darkest back-end my true habitat - don't get me wrong though, I can appreciate working on a sleek front-end once in a while. I always cherish opportunities to explore new technologies or new ways to use old technologies better. Learning new math, tools or otherwise has become one of my favourite experiences during my time at university so I hope to be able to learn and evolve throughout my career.On a softer note, I love efficiency in all forms and have developed a fascination with algorithms research during my time at university. I think deeply about many things and will always have an idea about how to optimize literally anything. However, I don't necessarily need to be allowed to - I say this of course because I suspect premature optimization is indeed a poor algorithm for delivering software on time.
