I started working with this program as an AmeriCorps member as of 2016 and was hired by Mesa United Way to continue this program in 2017 which ended July 2019The Bridge to Employment Program is sponsored by Mesa United Way and operates out of the Mesa Veterans Resource Center. I work with veterans assisting them with resume writing, career assessment and job search. It's not just about finding a job. It's about assessing what you love to do and finding that career path to do what you love to do.

I have worked several projects for Mesa United Way as an AmeriCorps member including:• Helen's Hope Chest which operates as a boutique shopping experience for young people in foster care assisting with sorting, stocking and displaying donated items.• East Valley Adult Resources Assistance for Independent Living program conducting phone and in person interviews for clients receiving services through this program.• Bridge to Employment program funded by the Boeing Corporation. This program assisted veterans with finding employment.

I worked for Experience Matters as an AmeriCorps member for the following projects:• Phoenix College Academy charter school as a Community Resource Coordinator, creating and scoring surveys to discover the needs of students and parents.• College Connect Tempe as a Site Coordinator providing high school students with information about post-secondary education opportunities and financial aid.• Experience Matters as a Data Analyst performing data research and analysis for their non-profit database

Gather, analyze and create business requirements for updates and enhancements to Arizona’s Long Term Care System’s Encounters Processing System database, on a SQL Server platform, utilized for encountering medical claims and payments for Title 19 program clients. Create and update functional specifications, test plans, test scripts and document test results. Execute back end testing of DTS packages, stored procedures and SQL scripts. Install application layers for batch processes. Use BizTalk Server 2002 to convert XML files into HIPAA compliant files.

Junior SQL Server 2000 Database Administrator monitor, troubleshoot and add tables to replications, monitor and troubleshoot failed jobs, alter views. Administer an ETL tool, Data Mirror, version 4.6 and 5.3, monitoring and troubleshooting mirroring of data from AS400 DB2 database to SQL Server 2000. Supervise the migration from Data Mirror Transformation Server version 4.6 to version 5.3 on a new server.Accomplishments• Resolved replication problems for offshore locations for a global Fortune 500 aviation company.• With no previous experience as a Data Mirror Administrator, learned to research and define problems and formulate and document solutions to keep mirrors functioning using version 4.6.• Data Mirror verification I did during a tape drive installation found several problems we were able to correct which kept the IT Department from experiencing a critical shutdown of the mirrors.

System test web-based Informix database case management application with a SQL Server back for the Appellate Division of the US Courts. Analyze requirements in order to create and update Scope Documents (Test Plans) and Detailed Test Plans (Scripts). Update and maintain Test Cases. Execute tests, report defects using online tracking application, and test/retest defects.Accomplishments• Closed 280 defects in a timely fashion. Maintained a positive and professional attitude in a constantly changing environment. Successfully completed tasks and learned new tasks through the professional relationships formed with the remote programming and analytical staff.
