I am Bart, a PhD scientist in physics at the KU Leuven. I consider myself a physicist holding an engineering degree. So naturally, I believe that the combination of science and technology can help solving contemporary problems, such as climate change and the energy crisis. With my PhD research I contribute to these solutions by evaluating the viability of adsorption hydrogen storage.I think that research should add both societal and economic value. Hence, I attach great value to science communication and the economic aspects of research. I'm always looking for opportunities to improve these skills.Learning is a never ending process!
