This resulted in the signing of 4 new corporate clients for fleet vehicles; Including my alma mater, Mississippi College. We are presently sponsors for the athletic department and provide inventory for their sports programs. (2) I also brought our franchise into the realm of local word-of-mouth marketing by joining a chapter of Business Networking International (BNI® ). The investment of time spent marketing the franchise in the community immediately boosted additional gross revenue upwards of $9K. ➤ TEAM DEVELOPMENT: I evaluated our current rental agents & vehicle preparation staff members, hired additional staff members, and trained them to place a focus on customer service through problem-solving. I also added supplier communications as a team emphasis by partnering with auction & wholesale dealers. Positive relationships and negotiation strategies led to reduced rates on fleet vehicles and savings on shipping charges.➤ PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Inventory can be a hassle in any industry. It is always my plan to keep things simple and stream-lined. I took it upon myself to develop a system of vehicle inventory logs that made searching among our stock much simpler.
