CREATIVE COMMONWEALTH is a community founded to explore and expand the innate human power to utilize creativity to drive meaningful change.

One of the proudest moments of my career was achieving the goal of becoming a strategist at SiriusXM/Pandora. It gave me the opportunity to spread my creative wings and explore what I have to offer beyond audio. In this position I've had the opportunity to lead creative strategy for several cultural campaigns for the SiriusXM and Pandora brands, as well leading creative on digital campaigns to amplify on platform content offerings and developing content strategy for it's virtual sponsored event series.

I ran a comedy record label! Who does that??? All jokes aside it was serious work. For this media production company I oversaw all facets of its comedy record label, Rooftop Comedy Productions. This included all label business, from production, accounting, marketing, and press, to expanding the label’s artist roster, building and managing relationships with artists, artist management, distribution accounts, and vendors. Based on label revenue goals approved by senior management, I planned the production calendar, and coordinated, and managed projects in audio production, accounting, distribution, public relations, and live events. To complete these projects I worked with cross-functional teams that included, legal professionals, creative directors, graphic designers, artists, social media managers and public relations managers. I also built and maintained relationships with broadcast stations, and digital distribution accounts, and developed strategies to ensure premium placement on streaming platforms.

Did you know broadcasting live golf tournaments is almost as hard as playing golf? 3 rovers on the course, 2 hosts in studio, 1 producer yelling in your ear and lots and lots of balls flying around. It was here at SiriusXM I mastered the art of keeping my cool in a high pressure environment. As an associate producer for MLB Network Radio, Sirius XM Fantasy Sports Radio, and PGA Tour Radio, I helped produce live and pre-recorded sports talk content. I worked with producers and hosts to determine relevant topics, identify potential guests, and determine the daily schedule for on-air programs, podcasts, promos and specials. I researched topics and themes, wrote scripts and created show content for hosts, promoted content on social media, archived digital audio, and ensured that the on-air product is up to broadcast standards.

Freelance Producer, Audio Recording & Mix EngineerAs a studio recording/mix engineer I provided professional audio recording and mixing services for artists and producers of various musical genres. As a live-sound engineer I prepared, planned, set up and operated sound-reinforcement equipment including microphones, speakers, and other equipment for audio performances in live venues.

For this communications/post-production house, I logged, digitized, and transcribed analog videotapes for distribution; tracked voiceovers; compressed digital video files for Internet and internal network distribution; and organized workflow between executive producer and staff. I also assisted the director/lead editor/producer with editing video clips and creating on-screen effects, researched and collected media content for use in commercials, acted as production assistant on film shoots, and performed general clerical office duties.
