Engineer, Designer, Entrepreneur, and InvestorI spent the first 10 years of my career as an analog design engineer working with and learning from some of the most accomplished designers in the industry.In 2006, I changed career direction and co-founded Silicon Creations, an IC design services and IP company. Over the last two decades, I've contributed to Silicon Creations growth through design, leadership, management, and capital investment. Silicon Creations has:- built a customer base of ~500 companies in 28+ countries, in diverse industries such as high performance compute / AI, mobile, consumer electronics, automotive, instrumentation, scientific, and aerospace. Our customer base spans the industry from some of the smallest to many of the world's biggest companies.- built design centers in Krakow and Atlanta. Our design centers employ 140+ people between the US and Poland.- designed and verified IP from 2nm to 180nm. Our silicon characterization lab has generated 150+ test reports.- won major awards from TSMC (Analog/Mixed Signal Partner of the year 7 years in a row 2017-2023, 2014 Best Emerging IP Vendor) and SMIC.- been a part of >1000 production chips.As part of Silicon Creations, I've helped to:- create a company culture that values employees, leading to ultra-high retention.- create a business model that funds future growth through reinvestment, keeping Silicon Creations free of outside investors and debt.- create PLLs, SERDES, and mixed-signal IP architectures that are robust over PVT, scale across geometry from 2nm to 180nm, and integrate easily.- create a process and foundry independent design flow scaling from 2nm to 180nm, allowing rapid and robust porting. This design flow has enabled our rapidly expanding IP portfolio.I've been granted 13 patents with others pending.
