During my time at Shady Hollow Country Club I have increased our Club membership by over three hundred families in four years of employment. The Club is now accepting applications for our Golf Membership Waitlist. I am responsible for on-boarding all of our new club members. Which includes a detailed New Member Orientation along with signing all Member documents. I assist our General Manager and our Board of Trustees with long-range club strategic planning. We are currently under construction with our multi-year Golf Course and Irrigation system renovation which began in July 2024. I prepare and distribute membership reports for committees and board of trustee meetings. I create the annual membership surveys, manage club website, handle membership sign-ups to the website and mobile application, and responsible for drafting and circulating all club communications.

Firestone Country Club

During my time at Firestone Country Club, I worked with our golf professional staff to help drive merchandise sales while creating a welcoming environment for our members and guests. This has allowed me to expand my knowledge of the game of golf while also providing excellent customer service to our members and guests. I have learned to operate a large and fast-paced golf retail operation in a country club that hosts major tournaments on both the PGA Tour and the PGA Tour Champions. I assisted our Director of Retail in all facets of tournament merchandise preparations and I was responsible for displaying the merchandise in the pro shop to best serve our customers. Another important aspect of my role at Firestone was planning and executing our concept shops. These were not only for our member events as we also partnered with our private events team to offer these exclusive gifting suites to corporate golf outings. I have experience using the GolfPro electronic POS and inventory system, Golf Genius tournament software, and Member Pride Membership engagement software system.

Madison, Ohio

Responsible for accurately selling green fees, rental of golf equipment and merchandise on cash register, and processing charge payment and discounts. Prepares report of revenue activity during shift, counts money and prepares deposit report. Enforces all golf course etiquette rules and policies. Answers telephone and in person inquiries about golf course facilities, services and special events. Schedules tee reservations.

Painesville, Ohio

Represent the college in a positive and professional manner. Attend all college and alumni events. Assist the president of the college at events held on and off campus. Convey a positive attitude on and off campus. Be ambassadors and promote the college at any and all times.

Lake Erie College

Assisting admissions counselors with tours, sending out mailings, sending out scholarship awards letters to incoming students, filing applications, test scores, and transcripts. Giving guided tours at all admissions events. Delivering important information to faculty and staff. Answering the phone and accurately transferring parents, students, and staff with the correct extensions. Helping students find classrooms and other faculty offices. Representing the college in a positive and professional manner. Managing the Ask A Tour Guide email account and responding to those emails in a timely manner and answering the prospective students question with accurate information by putting them in contact with the correct faculty member or athletic coach. Prepare for large group visit days by preparing the folders with the important visit information ahead of time with our graduate assistant.

Mansfield, Ohio Area

Assist with promotion, marketing, and coordination of events in our Mansfield, Ohio location. This internship provides me with real world non-profit business and marketing experience to gain field experience, while also allowing me to be creative and hands-on in the entire process.

Fairport, Ohio

Assist public at concession areas. Prepare, serve and sell food service items to the public. Keep concession areas clean and well maintained. Represent Lake Metroparks in a positive manner. Assist with inventory, special events and programs when required.
