Olabanji O. Folayan was born and raised in the Washington Metropolitan Area, and attended the University of the District of Columbia (B.A., Business Administration 1997) and University of Maryland (M.S. Management 2004 and Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security Management 2007). Mr. Folayan’s career in the contract security industry started in 1992 as a floater for Admiral Security Services, Inc. Prior to establishing Securemedy, Incorporated, Mr. Folayan worked in various capacities from security officer to management working on commercial and government contracts. He has provided oversight for a workforce of over 300 employees. His duties included management oversight for short-term and long-term objectives, contract negotiations, financial analysis and reporting, contract oversight, maintaining labor relations and strategic management of contract security services functions.With regards to professional certifications, he has attained the coveted Certified Protection Professional (CPP) status with ASIS International. He also holds the Certified in Homeland Security (CHS V) status with the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security. In addition, he is a board-certified Program Manager (CPM) with the International Association of Project and Program Managers. Serves as the single point of accountability for ABSS, Directs the security contract workforce and ensures services are being provided in accordance with the performance requirements of the contract, Maintains day to day authority to ensure total IMF customer satisfaction, Provides financial reviews, analysis and reporting, inclusive of quarterly projection and annual budget for all operations budget requirements and format, Develops request for proposals (RFP), bidding, negotiating, procuring, implementing, and monitoring subcontract services, Maintaining sound and effective labor relations with Allied Barton Security Services employees and sub-contracted vendors, Providing management, interface, direction, guidance, and supervision of all ABSS employees, Foster liason contacts among other ABSS sites and external agencies to exchange appropriate information and lessons learned
