I am a proud Deputy for the Will County Sheriff Department. Juvenile Officer and Crisis Intervention Team Certified. I have dedicated myself in developing a background in criminal justice and law enforcement. This includes achieving a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement from Western Illinois University and participating in an extensive internship with the Joliet Police Department. Prior to becoming a police officer I was employed with Exelon Corporate in Illinois. My responsibilities included operating security systems for multiple facilities in Illinois and Pennsylvania. I analyzed and responded to a variety of alarms from motion sensors to individuals with insufficient clearance attempting to access highly secured areas. NERC certified. I also operated as a security officer for Diageo North America prior to my time with Exelon Corporate. I dealt with a wide variety of responsibilities including the preservation of safety of the facility and tracking everybody on the property. CPR/AED Certified. Nine months out of the year are spent competing in races/physical challenges/endurance races across the country. I've completed mulitple 5k and 10k races, half-marathon, marathons, over a dozen obstacle course races stretching from 5 to 12 miles long on flat terrain and mountian conditions (Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, Warrior Dash, Gladiator Assault Challenge, exc.).
