Dr. Krämer was a Professor of Software Engineering in the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of FernUniversität in Hagen and a member of the first Advisory Board of his university. He acted as a Consortium Leader and Project Manager of many EU- and nationally funded projects. During his time at Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, he also received funding from the National Science Foundation and other US-american funding institutions.
