In March of 2014, I was recruited by bebe stores to take store systems to another level. With the importance of increased security needed by the POS system and the ever increasing need to further an omnichannel solution, they came to me because of my extensive experience in Retail solutions. In a short amount of time I was able to make that a reality. Some of the things we completed are listed below. There was more to be done, however, bebe is closing down.• Successfully implemented Verifone Point EMV solution to make bebe compliant with current PCI requirements and saving 10’s of thousand in fraudulent charges.• Successfully implemented Bank of America’s Transarmor tokenization solution to limit the company liability from a data breach and limit the scope requirements for PCI compliance.• Successfully implemented the Oracle Locate inventory brokering system to broaden the availability of inventory for sale. This enabled us close a huge gap between bebe.com and Store Systems by fulfilling online orders in brick and mortar stores, and fulfill store orders through other stores and ecom. This created the much needed Omnichannel environment that increased sales exponentially.• Implemented and maintained a complete POS hardware depot to support all store register hardware replacements and any new store requirements.• Successfully completed 14 Agile Sprint releases of the Oracle Xstore POS software system, which included many enhancements.• Hired, trained, and supervised a talented team to support the store environment.
