Packlane was an industry pioneer and leader for customized make-on-demand packaging, and was acquired by Digital Room, Inc. in May, 2022. As COO, I led the finance and operations teams to deliver best in class packaging products through a hybrid insource/outsource model. For the final few months of my tenure, I was instrumental in completing the acquisition, as well as in supporting the successful transition of the business and workforce to its new owner.

As a dental industry SaaS pioneer, Umbie offered a cloud-based office and clinical management solution for dental practices. Prior to joining full time, I helped the company to raise $2M+ in seed funding. As CEO, I built a predictable sales funnel which increased sales 80% in my first year. When the dental cloud software market consolidated, I sold the company to the market leader in the space.

As VP Global Supply Chain, I oversaw all company direct spend (approximately $100MM annual) and saved over $7MM in my first six months. I recruited top industry executives to establish merchandising and sourcing departments, driving enhanced product line offerings and top line revenue.

MOO is an online print service that targets design professionals and small businesses with premium business cards and stationary. As one of the original employees, I helped launch and develop the service from the ground up in London, and then went on to establish the US headquarters in Providence, RI. I established production and sourcing channels for a wide range of premium print products, packaging and accessories.

Following the acquisition and successful integration of Ofoto, I was promoted to VP Global Operations, where I led worldwide fulfillment operations and customer service. Led the initial transition of manufacturing and call center operations to outsourced providers. Introduced Ofoto print services into major U.S. retailers such as CVS, Target and Walmart.

Was primarily responsible for establishing corporate IS (enterprise applications, analytics, desktop computing) as well as CRM and database marketing. Was originally hired to manage the company's implementation of SAP FI/CO and Lotus Notes. Progressed to Director of Finance, in which I was responsible for accounting, planning and forecasting for this 300+ consultant U.S. branch of an international management and systems integration consulting firm.

Managed finance and MIS at the lighting division of this diversified energy services company. The division performed large scale energy saving retrofit projects throughout the U.S. and manufactured a full line of energy efficient lighting products. My accomplishments included establishment of manufacturing planning and control (MRPII) as well as systems integration in support of an acquisition by a public utility holding company.
