pd|hub is a national, multi-stakeholder initiative dedicated to advancing the professional development of graduate and postdoctoral scientists by building capacity for the spread of evidence-based educational practices.

pd|hub hosted a workshop to discuss enhancing the development, dissemination, and widespread implementation of evidence-based practices for STEM graduate and postdoctoral education, with a specific emphasis on career and professional development for PhD scientists.

The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) is the largest multi-disciplinary organization for women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). • Manage financial transaction oversight and bank account maintenance• Provide monthly financial reports on revenues and expenses incurred against the budget

The Cultivating Ensembles conference brings together individuals with different sensibilities and interests in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to celebrate the interwoven nature of sciences, technologies, humanities and arts as human activities. • Served as co-Chair of the Cultivating Ensembles 2022 conference with Dr. Jim Martinez, Department Chair, Interdisciplinary Studies, New York Institute of Technology (NYIT)• Served as co-Chair of Program Committee and led efforts to organize content and design of meeting, submissions, and overall conference structure for 2019, 2017, and 2015 conferences

The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) is a member-driven, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides a unique, national voice for postdoctoral scholars. Since 2003, the NPA has taken on the ambitious agenda to enhance the quality of the postdoctoral experience in the United States. During my tenure on the Board of Directors, I have served as Chair of Board, Chair of the Oversight Governance Committee, Chair of the Development Committee, and as the Outreach Committee Board Liaison. • Advocate for policies that implement sustainable change and improve the postdoctoral experience • Provide oversight and strategic direction for the organization as a member of the Executive Committee• Stay abreast of current trends in career and professional development programming for postdoctoral trainees• Promote effective stakeholder engagement via strategic communications to maintain current relationships and build new partnerships

As Interim Executive Director, I served as the primary external relations officer for the NPA, providing both strategic vision and leadership for the organization. In this capacity, I also was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization, direct management of staff, and working collaboratively with Board and Advisory Council members, Committee/Taskforce leaders, as well as volunteers.

The Outreach Committee is tasked with supporting the public image of the NPA through promoting the mission, values, goals, and business objectives of the NPA. • Led the Outreach Committee comprised of 15 members to engage and expand the NPA membership and encourage participation in NPA events • Coordinated National Postdoctoral Appreciation Week activities and publicized the 2013 “Every Member Get a Member” and 2014 “I $upport Postdocs” membership campaigns• Organized the 2014 Annual Meeting Raffle and Silent Auction: increased donor contributions, coordinated prize acquisition and secured sponsorship from 16 new corporate donors which resulted in the NPA’s most profitable fundraising raffle to-date totaling over $3400• Served as co-Vice Chair of the Outreach Committee August-December 2014
