About Ben Jobson
Develop Training provides accredited technical and behavioural solutions delivering 'Training that Transforms' for the UK's Utilities and Facilities Management sectors.I cover a broad range of IT disciplines in my current role with Develop Training. Our IT service is mainly internal-facing, and I strive to provide reliable and cost effective IT solutions to allow Develop Training to deliver quality training and consultancy services to industries such as gas, water, electrical, confined spaces and facilities management among others.I'm responsible for our servers, LAN and WAN, telecommunications and head the user support and helpdesk team.I'm also actively involved in planning, designing and developing our own in house software.I am experienced in most Microsoft server platforms from NT through to Azure. I'm also familiar with vmware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual solutions. I have extensive experience of SQL server and Exchange server.I develop software using Visual Studio, mainly in VB or c#, to create windows form and web based applications that interface with our SQL databases.
