I am a patent examiner at the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) with extensive experience in research and development, as well as in the fields of science, technology, and business. My expertise lies in physics, particularly optics, along with a strong understanding of intellectual property rights, product marketing, and marketing communications. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a specialization program in climate expertise at Helsinki University, which will equip me with valuable competencies in climate change mitigation and adaptation across various societal domains by the end of 2025.As a patent examiner, I examine the novelty and inventiveness of patent applications in the field of optics, leveraging my PhD in Engineering Science and my R&D experience in various projects and institutions worldwide. At the Quiske startup, I lead a team of passionate professionals who helped rowers improve their technique using sensors, apps, and cloud services. I also have a background in product development and marketing in the area of smartphone photography, having worked for 12 years at Nokia and Microsoft.
